These are the achievements of our community
How did we get to where we are?
01. The first coworking in Slovakia
Ivan Debnár, Peter Gabriž, and Matej Ftáčnik founded the first coworking space in Slovakia. Their goal was to create a creative and inspiring environment that became the perfect foundation for Slovak startups.
02. Startup Summer
We organized a school for startups, where budding entrepreneurs gained the knowledge and support needed to successfully launch their projects.
03. The Spot Booster and the beginning of the sli.do
The first Slovak startup accelerator was created, which supports startups financially, with mentoring and space. The startup Sli.do, which has changed the way we interact at events, has started its journey at The Spot. In 2024, its founder Peter Komorník returned as an investor and co-owner.
04. Pop-up on the beach
During the summer days we opened a pop-up coworking zone on Mágio beach. In the evenings, we held inspirational lectures, which we still organise today.
05. Opening of Sky Park
We officially opened the first three floors in the new The Spot space at Sky Park Offices, where we offer modern offices that foster collaboration, innovation and growth.
06. Expansion in Sky Park
We have gradually expanded and opened an additional three floors, where our members can find new offices, gaming zones, fitness centers and private cafés.
In addition, we have launched The Spot people – HR and talent management consultancy.
07. Arrival of investors
We welcomed Peter Komorník and Rast’o Hlaváč to our board, thanks to whom we launched the Fast Forward education and incubation programme.
Marcela Havrilová, who is the head of the Future Skills Hub educational workshops, has also joined the team.

Sme hrdým partnerom podujatia @femtech.club , ktoré búra tabu a otvára dôležité témy o ženskom zdraví. Pridaj sa na druhý ročník festivalu, kde ťa čaká deň plný prednášok, diskusií a workshopov o plodnosti, sexualite, hormónoch a inováciách v gynekológii.
Témou tohto roka je “Bez tabu medzi nami” – pretože je čas hovoriť otvorene, v bezpečnom a podpornom prostredí.

🎭 Divadlo v podaní @spot.divadlo na 6. poschodí – kultúra zavítala do našich priestorov a odniesli sme si poriadnu dávku inšpirácie z adaptácie hry R.U.R od Karla Čapeka.
🍹 Dokonalé drinky od @sip.spotbar – klasika, bez ktorej by to u nás už nešlo. Tentokrát nám chlapci pripravili nápoje s vesmírnou tématikou.

📊 Powerpoint karaoke by @speaking_heroes – najlepšie (a najvtipnejšie) prezentácie bez prípravy! Naši hostia si vyskúšali, aké je to dostať feedback na svoj impro public speaking aspoň od skúsených profesionálov.
🎧 Silent disco od skvelých @silentslovakia , kde sme si vyberali medzi oldies a hudbou budúcnosti
Ďakujeme všetkým, ktorí prišli a priniesli svoju energiu, smiech a dobrú náladu. Už teraz chystáme ďalšiu letnú párty – vidíme sa čoskoro! 🫶
Apríl v The Spot? Nabitý od prvej do poslednej minúty! ⚡
Zatiaľ čo príroda vonku kvitla, u nás to rozkvitalo eventami, ktoré mali zmysel. Od inšpiratívnych diskusií až po poriadnu dávku ľudskosti – The Spot žil, dýchal a prepájal. Čo sa všetko dialo? Pozri na tento výber:
🩸 Blood Donation:
Podarilo sa nám vyzbierať 9,5 litra krvi – čo môže zachrániť život až 63 ľuďom. Obrovská vďaka každému, kto prišiel. 💪❤️
🌼 Deň Narcisov:
Aj my sme sa zapojili do zbierky Ligy proti rakovine – pretože veríme, že pomáhať má zmysel. Jeden žltý kvietok = tiché gesto, silná spolupatričnosť.
👔 HR Event - Súboj o talenty:
Top ľudí nestačí len nájsť. Treba pre nich vytvoriť miesto, kde chcú ostať.

🎓 Future Skills Hub:
1️⃣ Rande s riaditeľmi – Téma zmena a komunikácia rezonovala! 50 lídrov škôl odchádzalo s know-how, inšpiráciou aj kontaktmi, ktoré majú silu meniť školstvo.
2️⃣ Druhý dych kariéry – O tom, že po 50tke život ani zďaleka nekončí. Diskutovali sme, ako prelomiť predsudky, rozvíjať zrelý talent a vytvárať inkluzívnejší trh práce.
🥕 Farmárske trhy:
Veľká noc? U nás vo veľkom štýle. @vasaspajza.sk priniesla chute, vône aj úsmevy – lokálne dobroty, čoko zajačikovia a sviatočná nálada, ktorá nám všetkým padla vhod.
A čo nás čaká v máji? Nechaj sa prekvapiť – ale ver, že to bude stáť za to. Sleduj nás a buď pri tom! 🚀
🔥 Minulý piatok sme opäť randili s riaditeľmi!
Rande s riaditeľmi #2 v rámci Future Skills Hub bolo silné. Téma Zmena a komunikácia zasiahla do čierneho – 50 riaditeľov a riaditeliek z celého Slovenska odchádzalo s novou energiou, praktickými tipmi, inšpiráciou a novými prepojeniami.
🧠 3,5 hodiny intenzívneho obsahu.
💬 Otvorená diskusia o vedení, zmenách a PR.
🤝 Prepojenie biznisu a škôl, ktoré má zmysel.

🐣 Tento týždeň sa v The Spot konal veľkonočný hotspot chutí!
Farms Market od @vasaspajza.sk priniesol kopec radosti (a ešte viac dobrôt) – čoko zajačikovia, domáce syry, džemy, dipy, sladké pokušenia…všetko lokálne a pripravené s láskou.
A keďže sviatočná nálada je v plnom prúde, chceme vám za celý The Spot tím popriať krásnu, pohodovú a poriadne chutnú Veľkú noc! Oddýchnite si, načerpajte energiu a užite si sviatky naplno – my sa na vás tešíme po nich! 💛🌷🐇

Ďalším členom nášho podporného programu Fast Forward je projekt, ktorý prináša riešenie na jeden z najväčších problémov digitálneho sveta – toxické komentáre.
